For her latest collection, Laila Wahba was inspired by Etruscan art. The designer has always had an affinity for ancient civilizations, especially
Roman history and culture, so it was only natural that she finally found herself translating this historical art form into her pieces.
Through her jewelry, Laila Wahba marries the past with the present, crafting pieces that have a vintage spirit into a modern body.
Still keeping her identity of focusing on bold, statement pieces, Laila Wahba crafted a finely-executed, handmade collection that makes a smooth transition from the heavy use of stones to focusing more on high-quality brass forming techniques, such as ammering, which is very prominent in this collection. IMPERIUM brings forward the fine, local craftsmanship the designer uses and the addition of fine jewelry techniques to create one-of-a-kind pieces.
